Surepipe supplied the steel piles for 18 bridges as part of the West Moreton Timber Bridge Replacement project with Moggill Constructions and QR Rail.

This project will have a total of 176 steel pile casings that range in size from 457mm OD to 762mm OD & lengths 3m to 13m for piles of up to 25m in length. The project involved our steel pipe including 1m pile shoes being fabricated, spliced to length, NDT tested to QR / DTMR QA requirements (material test certificates, weld procedures, weld maps, weld ITP’s & client / end client hold point inspections). Surepipe managed the pile supply chain to match Moggill Constructions pile installation schedule requirements, including delivery to the replacement bridge sites between Ipswich & Chinchilla for this project.
